The St Regis Deer Crest property celebrated their opening “The Debut of a Legend” this week! This stunning property sits on top of the beautiful Deer Valley mountain. The decks offer views of the entire area, while the decor is contemporary. Guests of the debut had the opportunity to tour the hotel inside and out. They were greeted at the Snow Park entrance and escorted up the funicular. Upon arrival, guests were invited for an apres ski social in the St. Regis bar where I hear you’ll find the “best tasting bloody mary ever”. Then it was a look at the elegant wine vault (one of my favorite places in the hotel!). The wine vault features an award winning collection of wines and champagnes. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres in the library where the story of the Astor family was featured. Everyone’s favorite stop was at the Remede Spa! Ladies kicked off their high heels and sat to sip on champagne and enjoy a foot massage by the spa technicians–The Remede Spa is not only relaxing but beautifully decorated and calming. Then it was off to the ballroom where the Fire & Ice theme showcased an amazing pre-function space and gorgeous ballroom. The pre-function space is wall-to-wall windows overlooking the Deer Crest mountain. The 3800 square foot deck is a great place for wedding ceremonies, parties and social gatherings. We are lucky to have this incredible new venue in Park City.
Soirée Productions was invited to design and decorate for this wonderful event. Our designers worked for three days to create the atmosphere for the grand debut. Our designers teamed up with the crew at Blakeslee Advertising of Park City and together worked to provide an elegant evening for this black tie affair. Executive Chef Chip of the J&G Grill prepared a menu to satisfy everyone. Ed Fraeze of Ice Works created several ice sculptures to display the St. Regis crest and made it functional to allow Chef Chip to keep his sushi fresh. The table looked tasty and beautiful. Amanda Hansen of Decorations Inc. provided wonderful floral and her team worked through the day to add the finishing touches. The evening was a great success and served to benefit the Park City Arts Foundation as well as the Alzheimer’s Association. Stop by this new luxury property and get spoiled by the amazingly attentive staff!
