Tip Tuesday: High or Low?

Why not combine the two to create a look that fills the space and creates ambiance.  At this wedding we designed the space with high centerpieces and low ones.  Lots of candlelight finished it off.  The team at Silver Cricket provided beautiful centerpieces that varied in height and provided lots of light.  The tall centerpieces stood on a dramatic iron stand with hanging votives and were surronded by smaller versions of the same mix of flowers.  The low centerpieces, kept within the theme but in this case, the vases varied in sizes and were surronded by lots of votives.  After taking a look at the mock up prior to the wedding, we decided we had to pin spot each arrangement to be sure to highlight the detail.  These gorgeous works of art filled the tall ceilings and were the focal point the moment you stepped into the room.  I’ve said it before, lighting is crucial and in these photos you can see why.  Even the smallest bit of light around the perimeter or a pin spot will add to your incredibly thought out detail and will be appreciated.
