This week the event planners at Soiree Productions we were invited to enjoy an amazing dinner at Rodizio Grill. Located in Trolley Square and American Fork, Rodizio Grill can accommodate up to 350 guests for a wedding or rehearsal dinner. With the flip of a button to red or green, servers come by your table and offer you tenderloin, chicken, mahi-mahi and so much more. The menu is quite extensive. Their salad bar is the best we’ve seen. Full of salads, potatoes, black beans, rice, grilled vegetables and on and on it goes. AMAZING. Rodizio Grill offers a private dining area perfect for a wedding or rehearsal dinner and all for only $24.99 per guest! The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the desserts were heavenly. The team at Soiree Productions can’t wait to book an event at Rodizio Grill. Oh, luncheons are only $16.99 per person! Tuesday, April 13th, 2010Summer Wedding Celebration
The team at Soirée Productions is so excited to tell you one of our favorite weddings will be featured in Inside Weddings Magazine. This wedding had great detail and was fun from beginning to end. The save the dates were vintage postcards of the bride and groom created by Nine Grain Design. We created a logo that would be carried out throughout the entire wedding. The welcome celebration kicked off the weekend with a BBQ at Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, while the wedding nuptials were celebrated at Empire Canyon Lodge. The evening began to look like it might rain on our parade but then suddenly the sun came out and shined upon all of the guests. The bride and groom were married under the Chuppah and as they recessed down the aisle guests sprinkled lavendar to wish them well. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck. Everyone danced the night away to music provided by the Salamander Band. The room was filled with long rectangular tables for 8-16 guests while floral topped each table with a variety of arrangements. We worked with Val Rasmussen of StellaPosy to finish each table top perfectly. Each place setting highlighted square chargers and china we found at Diamond Rental. Sarah Drown of Sparkle Photography captured the day and tells the story with her photographs. Our team at White Couture helped the bridesmaids to select their perfect Vera Wang dress all in the purple and navy hues. Each bridesmaid selected the style that worked best for her and with a variety of styles it was easy to do. The evening concluded with a midnight snack for guests to enjoy on their ride home-the sliders and french fries were a big hit! Everything about this wedding came together perfectly. We chose to submit it to share nationally because our planners felt this wedding showed what you can do while still keeping your budget within reason. Not a detail was left out and mom and dad were pleased with the budget! Thank you for allowing Soirée Productions to assist you in planning the perfect celebration!
Jupiter Bowl a Great Venue in Park City
Monday, November 30th, 2009
Located at Kimball Junction in Park City in the New Park Center
Yesterday I took my family to Jupiter Bowl in Park City. This wonderful new family attraction opened last week and offers bowling, great food, and lots of fun! I am sure you’re wondering why I have chosen to blog about it on our wedding blog. As I sat and waited my turn to bowl, I took note of the wonderful atmosphere Jupiter Bowl provides. Park City residents have bowled in Salt Lake City and Heber City in the past and to have a bowling alley right in our own town is a welcome treat. My kids were excited and anxious to see this new family center. They couldn’t wait anymore and we took the day to bowl and have lunch at Jupiter Bowl.
Jupiter Bowl is beautifully decorated with drum chandeliers. The Lift is there restaurant located inside. You may dine in the restaurant or enjoy your meal as you bowl. If you prefer to enjoy great food and skip the game that option is there too as the restaurant is open to the public. This food is not your typical bowling alley food. And the bar, it exhibits a mosaic glass structure in the center and the service is exceptional (our waitress Amber was very attentive), and the big screens TV are everywhere; including 3 screens the length of 15 bowling lanes! I looked at all of the technology and beautiful high end decor and decided I had to share this new fabulous venue with our wedding clientele. If you are looking for a fun, energetic atmosphere that keeps your guests mingling, dancing, drinking, and eating you might want to consider Jupiter Bowl. They have a great private area for groups under 100 with 4 private lanes, a private bar area and lounge seating. This atmosphere can’t be beat for the right event. I realize some people want to keep their rehearsal dinner a tad more formal but for those of you looking to welcome your guests in a fun and casual environment that is inviting and unique we found it for you. Don’t drive by without taking a look inside. I think this is a great way to celebrate and welcome your guests to Park City. Cheers to the owners of Jupiter Bowl for bringing us a great facility for everyone! For more information or to book your event contact us. We would be happy to build an event that is just right for you.

There are pool tables and plasma screens everywhere

A beautiful lounge offers a full bar men

Great lighting fixtures ad decor

Enjoy music videos and football games on this screen. It covers the length of 15 lanes!

There is a game room stocked with video games, air hockey machines, photobooth, a putting machine, guitar hero and more!
Tip Tuesday: Jazz Up Your Rehearsal Dinner
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009What’s better than a wedding day? A wedding weekend! To kick off the weekend’s celebration the couple welcomed and thanked their guests for traveling to Utah at an authentic Rocky Mountain BBQ at Sundance’s Elk Meadows the day before the wedding. Straw bails draped with horse blankets, blue checked tables clothes and wild flowers in mason jars completed the look. Mason jars were also used as lanterns and hung from Shepherd hooks with a candle in dried peas. Salmon, chicken and pulled pork was served directly off of the grill on blue splatter tin ware. The blue grass band delighted guests as clouds and thunder threatened the festivities. The staff at Sundance was ready with plastic ponchos as dessert was served. It started to rain just as homemade pie was being topped with the couple’s favorite Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. Some guests ran for the cover and others just laughed as summer storms can be, unpredictable and sudden in the mountains.
Luckily, the weather for the wedding was beautiful as well as the weather for the bride and groom’s farewell brunch. More photos are available on Nick Sokoloff Photography’s blog.
You too can plan a wonderful welcome celebration for your guests that can double as your rehearsal dinner. Welcome celebrations come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from a sit down dinner to a casual buffet. You might even decide to welcome your guests following the rehearsal dinner with a cocktail party serving just drinks and hors d’œuvres. A BBQ theme is always a hit with guests, especially in Utah. Consider hiring a musician that plays folk music and using playful checked linens for a picnic feeling. Floral can be simple by using galvanized tin buckets and wild flowers. Check and see if your photographer will include shooting this event in their package or for an additional fee. Many different types of venues would work well for welcoming your out of town guests. Your backyard, a state park, art gallery or a mountain lodge are all fabulous choices depending on your budget and style.
