Summer Wedding Celebration
The team at Soirée Productions is so excited to tell you one of our favorite weddings will be featured in Inside Weddings Magazine. This wedding had great detail and was fun from beginning to end. The save the dates were vintage postcards of the bride and groom created by Nine Grain Design. We created a logo that would be carried out throughout the entire wedding. The welcome celebration kicked off the weekend with a BBQ at Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, while the wedding nuptials were celebrated at Empire Canyon Lodge. The evening began to look like it might rain on our parade but then suddenly the sun came out and shined upon all of the guests. The bride and groom were married under the Chuppah and as they recessed down the aisle guests sprinkled lavendar to wish them well. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck. Everyone danced the night away to music provided by the Salamander Band. The room was filled with long rectangular tables for 8-16 guests while floral topped each table with a variety of arrangements. We worked with Val Rasmussen of StellaPosy to finish each table top perfectly. Each place setting highlighted square chargers and china we found at Diamond Rental. Sarah Drown of Sparkle Photography captured the day and tells the story with her photographs. Our team at White Couture helped the bridesmaids to select their perfect Vera Wang dress all in the purple and navy hues. Each bridesmaid selected the style that worked best for her and with a variety of styles it was easy to do. The evening concluded with a midnight snack for guests to enjoy on their ride home-the sliders and french fries were a big hit! Everything about this wedding came together perfectly. We chose to submit it to share nationally because our planners felt this wedding showed what you can do while still keeping your budget within reason. Not a detail was left out and mom and dad were pleased with the budget! Thank you for allowing Soirée Productions to assist you in planning the perfect celebration!

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010Winter Weddings | Soirée Productions | Park City
Tuesday, April 6th, 2010This winter wonderland wedding designed and coordinated by Soirée Productions is one of our favorites. The snow was perfect and the bride couldn’t have been more beautiful. Empire Canyon Lodge in Deer Valley looked amazing with the white flowers provided by Orchid Dynasty in Salt Lake City. The candle light and gorgeous shining crystals dressed up the lodge for a winter theme. The candy station was a big hit and the guests danced all night. During cocktail hour guests were invited to ride the horse drawn sleigh with their hot peppermint paddy drinks-hot cocoa with peppermint liquor and homemade whipped cream all topped with shaved peppermint! Sarah Drown of Sparkle Photo captured every detail and memory of this beautiful celebration. We wish the bride and groom and lifetime of happiness. Thanks for allowing Soirée Productions to be a part of such a wonderful day!
Amazing Musicians | Soirée Productions | Park City
Friday, March 19th, 2010Park City High School Jazz Ensemble
This week I coincidentally saw and heard a very impressive group of young people twice. On Wednesday I spent St. Patrick’s Day at O’Shuck’s in the Quarry Village Shopping Center at Jeremy Ranch (next to Soirée Productions) and a group of young musicians were entertaining the guests. Into the evening, I found out these amazing entertainers are recent graduates of Park City High School and they are all on music scholarships at various universities. I was impressed all around as they were incredibly talented and professional. Then last night my son who is in 6th grade, had a homework assignment. His homework requested him to attend a music show and write what he liked and didn’t. Our family decided to join him at the Park City High School Jazz Ensemble Show–What a show it was! An amazing group of young people from 8th grade to 12th performed various jazz pieces on their saxophones, trombones, trumpets, piano and other musical instruments. Piece after piece I was continually impressed. These young musicians were amazing. I decided to write about it because I would hire and recommend them for a wedding. They were as professional and entertaining as any group I have hired in the past and paid top dollar for. They were amazing and incredibly talented. If you are planning a wedding and looking for a great group of musicians to entertain your guests during cocktail hour or to provide wonderful dinner music, I would highly recommend the Park City High School Jazz Ensemble. I don’t know if they hire out but I think this would be a great way for them to earn money for their amazing program or to support the individuals with future endeavors. The group is lead by Mr. Chris Taylor. I am going to call Mr. Taylor and find out if his group is available for hire, but in the meantime if you are planning a party or wedding you might want to contact him too (ctaylor@pcschools.us). Congratulations Mr. Taylor to you and your wonderful musicians.
Catholic Wedding Celebration| Soirée Productions | Park City
Sunday, March 7th, 2010A religious wedding ceremony can be made up of so many spiritual and personal traditions. Soirée Productions had the honor of assisting this beautiful couple with their wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Park City. The day was full of friends and family. White flowers filled the church. When the bride walked in with her beautiful smile she was beaming. Her grandmother’s rosary was with her and wrapped around her bouquet. The bride’s shoes were signed by each bridesmaid. White Couture found the perfect bridesmaids dresses from the Vera Wang collection in a stone color that coordinated with the theme of this wonderful day. Bring tradition into your wedding and make it special. Thanks to Pepper Nix Photography for providing us with the images to share with you. Enjoy!
Lindsey Vonn | Vonntourage | Judd Waddell Wedding Gown | White Couture | Park City
Friday, February 12th, 2010I have been a Lindsey Vonn fan ever since she walked into White Couture in 2007 to shop for her wedding gown. Officially Lindsey Kildrow at the time, she was as kind and she is beautiful. It was our pleasure to assist Lindsey with her gown fitting. Of course she looked great in every gown she tried on. Once Lindsey tried on Judd Waddell’s collection, we knew she had found her dress. Lindsey chose a gorgeous Judd Waddell ballgown and a fingertip veil with just a light scatter of sparkle by Erin Cole. She truly looked like a princess in a fairy tale. Her ivory gown was made of duchess satin with a touch of lace. Lindsey’s wedding was held at the Deer Valley Resort; she was glowing like the night snow.
