Tip Tuesday: Modern Romance – New York in Park City

LandscapeBridesmaidsShoes

This New York couple celebrated their nuptials with modern elegance and mountain flair all tied into one.  Celebrating in June they experienced a little bit of rain but they didn’t let that spoil their day.  Rebekah Westover Photography was able to capture the elegance of the evening with every detail.  Because of the rain, the romantic ceremony was held on the back deck (under the awning) at Stein Eriksen Lodge.  The bride entered and took one look at the groom, and melted.  The backdrop of the mountain landscape provided just the view they were looking for.  They enjoyed cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres in the Valhalla Room while still enjoying the picturesque views.  The guests moved into the Odin Dining Room for dinner.   Chef Zane prepared an amazing four course dinner and Chef Raymond outdid himself with the gorgeous looking and amazingly tasting wedding cake.  Our planners designed the table top with white and green arrangements.  We incorporated three different looks; some tables showcased a tall centerpiece with branches and blooming flowers, while the other had a similar look with smaller vases, and the third (my personal favorite) had a cute table lamp with an ivory drum shade surrounded by beautiful floral to finish off the modern feel.  StellaPosy brought our look to life.  Val is so talented at reading our minds and working with us on every detail.  We designed everything in white.  The crisp linens were white and had a beautiful damask pattern.  The chairs–WOW!  This time we incorporated the wonderful ghost chair.  The entire look was clean, modern and chic with a touch of mountain elegance.
